The Intimate Engagement Session Workshop Workshop Dates: December 14th, 2008

Goals:
Camera control under daylight conditions
Lens selection and aperture management
exposure compensation
background control
foreground control
lighting control
interaction with the couple
Equipment needed:
Digital Camera (your favorite brand)
70-200mm lens (2.8 will be better)
28-70mm lens
Locations:
TBD
Time:
from 3:00 PM to 8:30 pm
from 3:00 to 3:30 on location inspection (looking out for shooting locations)
camera control adjustments and minor corrections
from 3:30 to 5:30 photographing the couple (one on one interaction and group sessions as well)
from 5:30 to 6:15 traveling to studio to review the photo shoot
from 6:30 to 8:30 image critique
there will be a limit of 6 photographers per workshop
the fee is $175.00 per person

INTIMATE ENGAGEMENT SESSION WORKSHOP

Hello To all of you
My name is Miguel Irias and I am wedding photographer located in the Miami area.
Wedding Photography moves me and it allows me to express my art in a complete way.
weddings are full of surprises; to start every wedding is different, the bride, the locations, the guest and all the other little details that come with it.

The engagement session is pretty much the first encounter we have with the bride & groom and we want to make sure that they feel comfortable with us and at the same time deliver compelling photographs that they will treasure for years to come.

The engagement session also serves as an ice-breaker, the couple will be more relaxed with you the day of the wedding day simply because they've already had an experience with you.

So make it a great one...

And here is when I jump in, I love to do engagement sessions because of all the things I just mentioned and I would love to share some information that i had acquire during these years that have helped me create the images that you are seeing here on this blog.

from 4:30 PM to 9:30 pm

from 4:30 to 5:30 on location inspection (looking out for shooting locations)

camera control adjustments and minor corrections

from 5:30 to 7:30 photographing the couple (one on one interaction and group sessions as well)

from 7:30 to 8:00 traveling to studio to review the photo shoot

from 8:00 to 9:30 image critique

there will be a limit of 11 photographers per workshop
